Recyclass: Sleever, the 1rst sleeve company to be certified in Europe

Sleever, the leading player in the world of sleeve labels, is the first in Europe to be certified by Recyclass.
This certification serves as evidence of the responsibility and trust between Sleever and brands. Brands can thus uphold their voluntary commitments to Environmental Responsibility, comply with regulations, and attain environmental certifications themselves.
This certification also enables them to meet their consumers’ demand for transparency regarding the design of their packaging and its environmental impact.

Incorporating post-consumer recycled material (PCR): What are the benefits?
Our eco-designed sleeve labels contain at least 30% post-consumer recycled material (PCR), the origin and percentage of which are certified by Recyclass. This study was conducted throughout 2021, encompassing our processes and suppliers. By doing so, we reduce the use of virgin plastic materials, contribute to lowering our clients’ packaging carbon footprint, and strengthen the circular economy.
  
Our eco-designed product offering 
We provide brands with eco-designed sleeve label products, incorporating up to 50% certified PCR, suitable for various applications: full or partial labeling for decoration and personalization, tamper-proof products with first-opening guarantees, and promotional packaging in batches. These products cater to all our markets and their specific needs.

Eco-design aligns with stringent requirements, respecting our clients’ specifications and the expected quality standards.

Recyclass (an initiative by the association of European plastic recyclers, PRE – Plastics Recyclers Europe) is an organization that brings together stakeholders across the European value chain. Many brands, including several of our clients, are members of Recyclass, recognized today by European eco-organizations and US recyclers.

Recyclass aims to guide brands and converters in improving the eco-design of their plastic packaging. To this end, the organization has developed evaluation and certification methods for the recyclability of their packaging.
